GI Go Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that assists veterans, active-duty personnel, their family members, veteran supporters, and all members of the military community with finding employment, connecting to their benefits, and accessing housing opportunities.
GI Go Fund was first founded to show veterans gratitude and support. Since the organization’s founding, they have helped tens of thousands of veterans with unique and innovative services, gaining nationwide recognition and changing the way people thing of supporting our veterans.
A major component to our expansion was our partnership with former Newark Mayor and current U.S. Senator Cory Booker in 2008 to serve as the Office of Veterans Affairs for the city, providing thousands of veterans with help finding employment, housing, benefits, and much more. We have grown since into a national leader in the veteran space, helping veterans from New Jersey to California with getting the services they need.
The organization has received tremendous recognition for their support of veterans, having been featured on CNN, Fox News, and other news outlets on numerous occasions. In addition, their work with homeless veterans in the city of Newark was featured on the ABC reality show “Secret Millionaire”.

We have received great support from terrific companies like PSEG, Paychex, Verizon, and hundreds more over the years, and we are partnering with more companies everyday. Most notably, we developed our Veteran Training Center and Jackson Drysdale Incubator Space with the support of Panasonic, Kessler Foundation, and many others that provides employment training and resources to vets looking for work, as well as Incubator space for service-connected veteran-owned businesses to develop their companies and connect to business opportunities in the public and private sectors.
In addition, we have received support from thousands of businesses and schools nationwide through various fundraising efforts, including our Jeans for Troops drive and Warrior Walk & 5K Race, each of which have generated millions of dollars in support of local military veterans and their loved ones.
